tess's power in this book is so intriguing with how she can take it away and then give it back if she so chooses, and not have it only be taken away, the part with harvard the dog was so cute, and it was so funny when dante thought of chase to name the dog after :hapdance: and the idea of a drug that effects them causing a bloodlust urge was just such a twist i never would have ever thought of that just works so well with the story.

I've just finished Kiss of Crimson (Book 2 had been missed in my series reading) and I have a new respect for Dante. He has 2 relationships that change his perspective on life, and change his life, period. I love the relationship with Sterling Chase, a man whose original presence brought out Dante's anger almost as much as the Rogues. He slowly gains respect for Chase, and Chase for him, and a real friendship is born.

Of course, I don't think the friendship would be as deep, or even happen, unless Tess was in his life. I love how she gets him, how they compliment each other, and how she calls him on his shit. LOL! I have a feeling Dante will be teased unmercifully in the future about his "dating techniques."

I just finished the book and have to say I didn't think it could get better than Lucan's story but omg I was on a roller coaster of rides of emotions with this book. I am eagerly starting Tegan's book now

I have to admit, that while I loved the book, I hate Tess. The only thing I like about her is that she is able to heal. Yes, Dante is my favorite and I want him for myself, but that's not why I hate her. I just don't like her character; there's just something annoying/odd about her that I can't really place. I just remember reading the book for the first time (and all times after that) and thinking that Tess and Dante don't fit well.

I love all the other breed mates a hell of a lot better then I like her.

I didn't like Tess at first. I did end up liking her in the end of the story. Though with all the series I was always mad at the female characters for being stupid after their first love-making encounter (did they not know what they had?!). Dante had a little more human qualities in him...usually putting his foot in his mouth...getting the dog just to be near her....going to the art benefit to see her....

I was a big fan of Lucan in the beginning but after reading Dante's story I was head over heels! I thought that the sex scenes were more detailed and you (at least I did) would sigh after reading those passages.
